Bio

She pursued her PhD from Nagpur University on the topic “A study of nurturing the interests of women within the age group of 20-4 years in select information technology industries in Maharashtra with special reference to select districts – 2003-2013” She has completed her Bachelor of Laws in 1998 and Master of Laws in 2003 from South Gujarat University. She also has a Master in Business Studies (HR) from MIT School of Management where she was awarded a Gold Medal for securing the 1st Rank.

She has worked as an advocate for 9 years in Courts in Gujarat. She was associated with MIT School of Business as Assistant Professor from 1st April 2008 till 11th June 2018. She also handled responsibility as the Co-Head, Academic Program Office from March 10, 2017, till 11th June 2018 at MIT School of Business. Thereafter she was deputed as Assistant Professor and Head, Academic Program Office for Faculty of Fine Arts, Media and Journalism from 12th June 2018 to 30th September 2019. She is currently an Assistant Professor and Head Academic Program Office at MIT-WPU Faculty of Law. She has also been handling the examination section in these departments.

She has presented and published more than 18 research papers in national and international journals during her academic career. Some of her recent publications are ‘A study of problems faced by female entrepreneurs in managing talent in Kothrud area in the city of Pune.’ ISSN 2249 – 5681. ‘Problems faced by women working in the BPOs: A study of some select BPOs in the city of Pune’ ISBN 978-93-85777-44-8, “Predicting Target students’ population for lunch “Thali” available near college campus” ISSN No. 0976-8262, “Nurturing Working Women Regarding Safety Concerns Faced By Them – A Literature Review” ISSN 2249 – 5681, “Factors influencing students’ decision of choosing management institute with reference to PGDM program” ISBN: 978-93-83302-13-0.

She has also attended more than 19 Seminars, Workshops and Faculty Development Programs to keep herself updated with the latest topics in her subject area. She was the coordinator for the RDA’s 19th International Conference at Kochi, organized on 7th and 8th November 2016, and the Co-convenor for the international conference on Innovation in Management Practices (ICIMP) 2016 held on 26th& 27th August 2016 by MIT School of Business, Pune.
